Operating profits up at Proctor&Gamble

Operating profits at Procter &Gamble's Irish manufacturing  operation jumped almost 15-fold last year.
The multinational consumer group operates two plants here, in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and Newbridge , Co. Kildare.
The business, makes dental products , cosmetics and personal care products with Nenagh  ivolved in the health and beauty care side of the company.

The Nenagh plant is also being developed into a “strategic hub” for the parent group's European colour cosmetics production.
