O Riordan kicking points nationwide

Primary school teacher Kevin O'Riordan from Templemore is undertaking the mammoth task as part of fundraising efforts for the Hope Foundation in Kolkata, India where he volunteered last year. 

The 'Kick for Kolkata' event will get underway in Kevin's home club of JK Brackens this evening…the teacher will then spend the next number of months travelling to all 1,616 GAA clubs across the country to kick a point in every one.

The former minor and under 21 county footballer, and brother of Colin O'Riordan, says the project is all about raising awareness and some much needed funds.
