Northern Talks resume today.

The Taoiseach Enda Kenny and the British Prime Minister David Cameron are holding talks with the Northern parties today.

It's the latest element in a series of negotiations involving the Northern parties and the two Governments as efforts to reach agreement -on flags, parades and the past-are intensified.

Enda Kenny says he's cautiously optimistic that an agreement could be reached.

The Tanaiste Joan Burton, Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan and Minister of State, Sean Sherlock, will also attend today's talks.
