North Tipp residents in favour of merging County Councils

The majority of people in Nenagh think that the new headquarters for the amalgamated County Council should be in Thurles.

In a survey conducted by Tipp FM in North Tipp yesterday, 80 per cent of people polled think the merging of the County Councils is a good idea, but many fear that funding for roads in particular will decrease as a result.
