The N65 Borrisokane road from Carrigahorrig to Lorrha, and onto Portumna is closed – diversions via the Athlone road to Lorrha are in place and are signposted.
Elsewhere, the R438 at Anglers Rest on the Borrisokane to Athlone Road is closed while the L-1111 Nenagh to Capparoe route is also impassable.

There is surface water and spot flooding on most back roads in North Tipperary, care is needed while driving but the roads are passable.
