North Tipperary has passed its annual budget of over 61 million for 2014 but not without controversy.

It was then decided that the talks on the Service Level Agreement with the company would be shelved till the New Year and proceeding continued to pass the estimates- which brings good news for businesses in North Tipp with a further cut in rates.

The local authority cut rates by 1.67 percent to 11.6, meaning they are among the lowest in the country.
