Work to repair a burst watermain that’s been causing an outage in Cahir has been successfully completed.
Uisce Éireann says that’s water has now been turned back on all areas in the town.

It had been hoped that all local customers would be back to normal by six o’clock but the company is warning that it will still take some time for pressure to return to normal.
It’s now expected that all local homes and businesses will have their supply fully restored by 8pm.
