Newly re-elected TD Seamus Healy says he will deal with whoever forms the next government on a case-by-case basis.

The Clonmel Independent was the main beneficiary in transfers from Sinn Féin’s Martin Browne to overtake Fianna Fáil’s Imelda Goldsboro in the final count.

Deputy Healy was asked on Tipp FM if he would be willing to support the whoever forms the new government.

“I’ll be dealing with every issue on a case by case basis and I’ll do that on the basis of the issues that people raised with me on the doorsteps and that I raised during the course of the campaign. Issues like housing and homelessness, the health service, St Brigid’s in Carrick, the mental health unit and Jigsaw.”
