New poll shows divide on new election

A poll carried out for Claire Byrne Live has found 45 per cent wanted an election, while 42 per cent preferred a Fine Gael led government, and 13 per cent said they didn't know.
                                       
The poll of one thousand adults was carried out yesterday by Amarách Research.

On a separate issue, the poll found only 12 per cent supported the Luas workers strike action. 82 per cent were against it and 6 per cent were “Don't knows”.
