Roscrea Business Watch, which is being run by local Gardaí, the Roscrea Stands Up group and the Chamber of Commerce, is aimed at helping business people and farmers in the area to combat crime.

The project works along the lines of community alert schemes with participants joining up to be kept informed of scams, crime and thefts affecting their business in the area as well as appeals on crimes committed.
