Beaches in Lahinch and Kilkee have been fitted with high-tech tannoys which will advise beach goers to clean up.
The system is motion activated, with warning messages played out everytime a member of the public – or a dog, comes close to the sensor.

They'll be switched off at night so people coming home from the pub won't be messing with them.
