New EV chargers to be added to Clonmel

A number of Electric Vehicle charging points are to be installed in a retail park in Clonmel.

Tipperary County Council has approved a planning application from Leopardstown based Source EV Ireland Ltd for the works at the Poppyfield Retail Park on the Cahir Road.

Four new 150kW charging stations will be fitted in the car park – each one would have 2 charging bays so up to eight electric vehicles could be charged at any time.
