Construction works to upgrade the old pipe network begins today on a number of streets in the North Tipp Town with the aim of having them completed before the busy Christmas period.
It's part of Ervia's 17 million euro infrasture project in Nenagh which has already resulted in the gas network being extended from Limerick- through the company subsidary, Gas Networks Ireland.

The areas affected include the R445/Clare Street, Cudville Road, Ashe Road, O’Rahilly Street, New Line, and the Borrisokane Road.
