Colette Cowen, who previously worked as the Director of Nursing at the Tyone health facility, says all doctors will work right across the group of hospitals including Nenagh.
She was speaking at the official opening of the new Surgical Day Unit at Nenagh where €6.2 million has been invested in recent years.

The CEO of the UL Hospital Group says the recruitment will allow the day surgery unit to be used to its full capacity.
The Director General of the HSE, Tony O'Brien – who also attended yesterday's official opening – says Nenagh is a model hospital for others around the country to aspire to.
