Nenagh motorist facing drug driving and speeding charges

A motorist caught speeding in the Nenagh district is facing a number of offences.

Officers from the Tipperary Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle travelling at 81 kilometres per hour in a 50 zone.

The driver – an unaccompanied learner permit holder – was arrested after a positive DrugWipe test for Cocaine and Cannabis, and the vehicle was impounded.
