Councillor Siobhán Ambrose says that in light of reduced Garda numbers due to the high number of retirements and the ban on recruitment, more CCTV cameras would allow for more efficient policing in the town.

Councillor Ambrose raised the issue at the recent meeting of South Tipperary County Council where she received the support of her fellow Councillors.
