National Property Recovered Day being held today

Gardaí are hoping to find the owners of property that's in their custody by holding a National Property Recovered Day.

Photos of the items will be on display today at various locations around the country and you can also view them on the Garda website.

In Tipperary, Templemore Garda Station will be open for anyone who wants to view the catalogue. 

People can then arrange for viewings of the physical property with relevant Gardaí and avail of crime prevention advice.

Assistant Garda Commissioner Jack Nolan says it's important that you've some way of proving that the property is yours.
