National Gallery receives further funding

Major refurbishment works at the institution are due to be completed before the end of this year at a cost of 30 million euro. 

This latest tranche of funding from the Department of Arts will go towards commissioning and re-hanging of works prior to the reopening of the Milltown and Dargan wings.

It's hoped the wings will reopen to visitors in early 2017.
