The National Cycling Championships continue in Clonmel.

The Veterans and Ladies titles will be decided today with the Mens Elite and Under 23 race tomorrow.

The Veterans get underway at 11am while the Ladies race starts at 2pm

Both races start at the Convent Bridge in Clonmel and take in a 12.5 kiometre circuit covering Marlfield Village, Knocklofty Bridge and the Wood Road.

The Vets cover a total of 112 kilometres while the Ladies race is over 87 kilometres.

Tomorrow's Elite race will include defending Champion Matt Brammier  Nicolas Roche and a number of riders from the An Post Sean Kelly squad. They use a longer 18.6 kilometre lap for a 167 kilometre race
