Motorcyclist killed in fatal road collision on N24

Gardai in Clonmel are investigating after motorcyclist in his late 40s was killed in a crash in Tipperary.

His motorbike collided with a car on the N24 between Clonmel and Carrick on Suir at a quarter past 6 yesterday evening.

The female driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.

The road remains closed for a technical examination.

Inspector James white is with the Clonmel Gardai, who are appealing for witnesses
