A motorcyclist is the second person to be killed on Irish roads this weekend after a death in Tipperary on Friday night.
The crash involving a motorbike and a car happened on the R634 at Ballydasoon on on the Cork-Waterford border.
The man in his 60s driving the motorbike was killed in the collision shortly before 2pm yesterday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
His remains have been transferred to the mortuary at Waterford University Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
The driver of the car, a man in his 50s, was transported to Cork University Hospital for assessment.
A man in his 30s who was driving a ride-on lawnmower on the N76 near Clonmel was pronounced dead at the scene after a crash at Kilcash Cross on Friday night.
His body has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination is due to take place today (Sunday).
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area on the N76 between 9.30pm and 10.30pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
