Mixed response to Tipp allocation for storm-hit roads

The Minister for Transport has confirmed a national spend of €85 million to tackle the problem.

Many parts of Tipperary were badly hit by the spate of storms over Christmas and the New Year with a number of roads closed to traffic for weeks.

Kilbarron based Independent Councillor Joe Hannigan says the money allocated to Tipperary is not near enough.
