Minister to meet with flood hit residents of Mayo and Galway

Minister of State Simon Harris will visit Ballinasloe and Crossmolina, where he will speak to local businesses and residents whose homes and properties were destroyed.

A €5 million relief funding scheme is available to small businesses that suffered flood damage.

The Department of Social Protection is also making money available to people whose homes have been destroyed.
