The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation are planning the action on December 15th at 7 hospitals, with further action planned for the New Year.
Figures from the INMO today show there are 15 people waiting on trolleys in South Tipp General Hospital in Clonmel, while at the University Hospital in Limerick, which covers North Tipperary, 12 people are waiting for a bed.

There has been a 24 percent rise in the number on trolleys between January and November compared to 2014 – but Health Minister Leo Varadkar says there has been an improvement in recent weeks.
