Minister says comprehensive building programme in place for Tipperary

It comes as another €3.6 million is set to be pumped into social housing projects in several areas.

This will result in an extra 27 units being built – 7 of which will be acquired by voluntary housing bodies Focus Ireland, Simon and the Camphill Communities.

A further three construction projects will be kick-started in Clonmel, Carrick on Suir and Fethard.

Minister Kelly says a comprehensive programme of building is now in place.
