Richard Bruton's told the Dáil that he was made aware of it by the Competition Authority who had no concerns on competition grounds.

Meanwhile Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin are still demanding changes to the wording of the terms of reference of the Commission of Investigation into IBRC to guarantee that issues raised about the loans of businessman Denis O'Brien are covered.
