A stand-off at Rockville Drive has been ongoing for a week now – over plans to house 15 travellers for a maximum of six months.
The Southside Traveller Action Group says the survivors are 'desperate' for accommodation – but residents say the site in question is not suitable.

Minister Alan Kelly says he hopes the blockade can be brought to an end.
“I support the local authority manager 100 percent in her actions, and I'm hoping common sense will prevail here” he said.
“Remember this is a temporary site – it is not a site that's going to be there permanently, and I think that should be borne in mind” he added.
