A status yellow low temperature warning, has been issued by Met Éireann, and will remain in place until ten o'clock Monday morning.
Met Éireann said there would be mist and fog patches, which would be slow to clear in some places.

Roads turned hazardous overnight as temperatures dropped to minus 4 degrees.
There is a slight thaw expected this afternoon, but lows of minus 6 are predicted later tonight.
