Efforts to get a Men’s Shed up and running in Carrick on Suir will take a major step forward this evening.
The project has been in the pipeline for several months now following an initial public meeting set up by the Carrick on Suir and District Lions Club in March and a premises has now been secured.
It will be located in a prefab to the rear of the old Comeragh College in the South Tipp town.
A meeting will be held there at 7pm tonight in an effort to get the project off the ground.
Lions Club Secretary Stephanie Keating is urging people to come along.
