Efforts are being taken to develop a Men's Shed in Newport.
Those behind the plans say it's very important that men have a place to gather and socialise.

A public meeting to drum up support is being held in the local Community Centre at 8 o'clock tonight.
Conrad Slater says the project would be for men of all ages.
