A group representing locals opposed to the GridLink pylon project in South Tipperary is to hold a public meeting this evening.
The Suir Valley Environmental Group will update interested residents on Eirgrid's recent announcements about its plans for the project.

The proposed GridLink project planned to link Cork with Kildare via Wexford in a bid to upgrade Ireland's energy network – two of the proposed routes pass through parts of South Tipperary and face intense opposition from locals.
The meeting will be held in Ballyneale Hall tonight at 7.45.
