Mass will be celebrated at the Holy Year Cross , Clonmel today.
Those wishing to make the annual pilgriage to the site on the Comeragh mountains are being reminded that
the OPW granted permission for the Old Bridge Way to remain open to pedestrains until 2.30 this afternoon.
The historic event , qwhich is celebrated annually on the first Monday in August , was marred last year after the site of the Holy year Cross was vandalised.
