The annual pilgrimage to the Holy year Cross in Clonmel can be accessed through the usual Old Bridge route in the town.
This is after Mayor of Clonmel, Cllr. Billy Shoer told Tipp FM that permission's been granted by the Office of Public Works to allow access through the Old Bridge on Monday from nine o'clock to 2.30.
Works are ongoing in this area however pedestrians in the annual pilgrimage are being facilitated , in this instance.
The Mayor is urging people to take part in the walk.
