It has led to calls for a comprehensive programme of works to be put in place to tackle the growing problem in many of the older housing estates in the North Tipperary town.
Local Independent Councillor Hughie McGrath says while residents keep their areas well maintained resurfacing works are beyond their remit and need to be tackled by the council.
