Man due in court over Dublin death.

A man in his 30s will appear in court later in connection with the fatal stabbing of a woman in South Dublin on Monday.

65-year-old widow, Jane Braidwood, was attacked at her home in Clarinda Park East in Dun Laoghaire.

She was pronounced dead in St. Vincent's University Hospital a short time later.

The man was arrested at the scene and detained at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.

He's due to appear before Dun Laoghaire District Court at 10.30 this morning.
