Man appears in court charged in connection with Cork carjacking

23-year-old Vincent Morley – who is originally from Gurranabraher but has been living in Bweeng, appeared in court this morning and was remanded in custody for a week.

He was charged last night with six offences relating to the incident in Cork yesterday morning.

The charges include using threat of force to unlawfully seize a car in Grenagh village and a second charge of using a weapon, namely a screwdriver, to intimidate the victim. 

He’s also charged with four counts of theft.
