Gardai investigating an alleged serious assault of a woman in the Tipperary Town area have arrested a man.
The male in his 30’s was detained by officers yesterday under Section Four of the Criminal Justice Act and questioned in relation to the incident at Shronell near Lattin last Monday.

He has since been released from Tipperary Town Garda Station without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
