Almost 500 new jobs have been announced at three separate companies today.

Fifty new positions are being created in Cork, at Zevas on the Monaghan Road.
And Alexion, a pharmaceutical company, has announced 40 jobs in Athlone.
While 400 positions are coming on stream at convenience store chain Centra as it plans to open 20 new shops around the country.
