The Two-Mile Borris native also purchased the Munster Hotel in Thurles last year.

He has major plans for the landmark Nenagh site which include retail and private healthcare facilities.

He expects to create around 200 jobs with the project on the 5.5 acre site in what will be a huge jobs boost for the town and its environs.

A planning application is due to be lodged with Tipperary County Council next month.
