The multi million Euro service station and food court will also become one of the largest employers in the area with 70 jobs created.
The Barrack Obama Plaza on the Tipperary Offaly border which has been developed by the founders of Supermacs and Papa John's fast food outlets represents the single biggest investment in the area in decades.
Built at a cost of over €7 million it’s located close to Moneygall – the ancestral home of the US president who visited the village in 2011.
Along with a service station, food court and convenience store – the development also includes state of the art meeting rooms for business and organisations throughout the country while a visitor centre, focusing on Irish American history will open shortly.
120 temporary jobs were generated during the construction phase while a further 70 full time positions come on stream today when the plaza officially opens its doors for business at 12.
