Work’s underway on a 2 million Euro upgrade on the Glenbeha Water Treatment Plant in Roscrea
The site is currently included on the Environmental Protection Agency’s Remedial Action List, which highlights the locations which are in most dire and immediate need of improvement.

The scheme is aiming to provide a more robust and advanced treatment process to ensure a full compliance with drinking water standards in the future
The utility says that homes and businesses in Roscrea will benefit from the project which is set to be completed for Autumn 2025.
This is the latest in a series of works which include Cahir, Newport, Fethard, Horse and Jockey and Clonmel.
