Social media sites were hoping last night after the Independent Tipperary TD posted a tweet of himself and the squad kitted out in their new threads – In it he stated he was “Very happy to have been in a position to co-sponsor the suits for the Tipp Panel.”
A spokesperson for the Tipperary County Board said a consortium of people got together to organise the post match clothing adding Mr Lowry was very much involved in local GAA circles and the organisation had no problem with him coming on board.
