Local Parkinson’s Association branch critical of Budget cuts.

Cutting the Annual Respite Care grant by €325 in the Budget is a direct hit at the good nature of already over stressed carers.

That's the message from the Tipperary Branch of the Parkinson's Association of Ireland.

They say the move will mean more hardship for countless families in the county especially with the continued closure of respite care beds at the Hospital Of the Assumption in Thurles.

They are calling on people to immediately lobby their elected public representatives to use their influence to stop the Government enacting these budget cuts.
