A local Gaza campaign will soon mark one year of solidarity fasting and fundraising success.
The Hunger for Justice Gaza Campaign was launched by the Nenagh Friends of Palestine in collaboration with the North Tipperary Irish Palestinian Solidarity Campaign branch.
It has received widespread support from across Ireland and internationally with endorsements from over 50 organisations and notable figures.
Fergal McDonnell of the North Tipperary IPSC say that the campaign raised awareness while providing much needed aid with over 175 thousand euro in donations.
As the campaign approaches its conclusion, there is still time to contribute. Donations remain open, and supporters are encouraged to make a final contribution from GoFundMe at Justice for Gaza.
