Tipperary officially has Ireland newest Irish speaking town, picking up €40 thousand in the process.
Lisvernane in the Glen of Aherlow was up against Donobate of Dublin in the final of the G-Team programme on TG4, having seen off the challenge of 120 others towns and villages across the country to reach the final.
They came out on top with 27,000 votes compared with just 9,000 for Donobate.
