University Hospital Limerick is once again the most overcrowded hospital in the country this lunchtime.
The number of people on trolleys in the hospital – which serves North Tipperary – has jumped from 39 yesterday, to 54 today.
South Tipp General is also experiencing some overcrowding this week, where there are 27 people in need of a bed this afternoon – down from 34 yesterday.
According to the INMO there are 308 people across the country on trolleys in Emergency Departments or in overflow areas of wards today.
