Limerick hospital has highest number of patients on trolleys

University Hospital Limerick, which serves North Tipp, Limerick and Clare, had the highest number of patients on trolleys today, representing 15% of the overall figures.

Around the country, there are 449 people without hospital beds, while 70 of those are in the Dooradoyle hospital.

There are also nine on trolleys in Tipperary University Hospital in Clonmel.
