A learner driver tried to escape Tipperary Gardai by driving through a checkpoint.

The checkpoint was set up in Nenagh yesterday

The driver tried to evade the guards by driving straight through it but they were stopped.

The members discovered that they were an unaccompanied learner driver with no L-plates displayed.
