Joan Burton says she met with her party's National Executive and General Council on Saturday.
Speculation about the date of next year's election is continuing, after a poll in yesterday's Sunday Times showed the government parties at their highest level of support since February 2014.

The Behaviour and Attitudes survey put Fine Gael and Labour on a combined 39 percent, which would be enough to form another coalition.
But Tánaiste Joan Burton says she's not taking the results of polls too seriously yet.
