Deputy Kelly says Minister Ross is suddenly realising what it means to be in Government and not heckling from the opposition benches.

71 year old Pat Hickey is in hospital in Rio and has temporarily stepped down as OCI President.

Police in Brazil are waiting to speak to Mr Hickey in relation to 3 specific charges surrounding scalping of tickets.

If convicted Mr Hickey could serve up to 7 years in a Brazilian jail.

One of the OCI's two Vice Presidents – William O'Brien – has temporarily replaced Pat Hickey.

The other Vice President is Tipperary's John Delaney – the FAI CEO.
